Athlete

I’m a professor of kinesiology, researcher, and strength and conditioning coach with over a decade of experience coaching athletes and studying and improving human performance. My work spans classroom instruction, applied research, and hands-on coaching, from professional athletes to everyday lifters striving to train smarter.

I hold a Ph.D. in Kinesiology with specialization in strength, conditioning, and sport performance. My research focuses on training load, fatigue, recovery, and performance analytics, including validation of fatigue scales, golf performance metrics, and the impact of nutrition and caffeine on skill execution. I’ve presented at national conferences and mentor students pursuing graduate research in applied sport science.

In coaching, I combine laboratory precision with practical programming. Every plan I write integrates data from biomechanics, physiology, and nutrition to maximize results to fit your goals. I value structure and objectivity, tracking variables, refining interventions, and using evidence to guide every phase of development.

At my core, I believe performance should be measurable, sustainable, and grounded in science. My goal is simple: to help people understand the process behind progress and use it to perform at their best.
